Privacy Policy
The following information provides a simple overview of what happens to your personal data when you visit our website. Personal data refers to any data that can be used to identify you personally. For detailed information on data protection, please refer to our Privacy Policy listed below this text.
If you have any questions, suggestions, or complaints, please contact our Data Protection and Data Processing Officer directly at: datenschutz@schuk-consulting.de
Right to File a Complaint with the Competent Regulatory Authority
In the event of violations of data protection laws, the data subject has the right to file a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. The competent supervisory authority for data protection matters is the State Data Protection Commissioner of the federal state in which our company is headquartered. A list of data protection officers and their contact information can be found at the following link: https://www.bfdi.bund.de/DE/Infothek/Anschriften_Links/anschriften_links…(external link).
Protection of the Individual's Right to Informational Self-Determination
The individual’s right to informational self-determination is derived from the general right to privacy. Its protection is ensured by legal provisions, such as the Federal Data Protection Act, the Teleservices Data Protection Act, and the Telemedia Act. Our website has been designed in accordance with statutory data protection provisions. We firmly believe that you, as an Internet user, should feel assured that your privacy is protected.
Your data is collected, in part, when you provide it to us. This may include, for example, data that you enter into a contact form.
Other data is automatically collected by our IT systems when you visit the website. This consists primarily of technical data (e.g., internet browser, operating system, or the time the page was accessed). This data is collected automatically as soon as you access our website.
Right to Information
You have the right at any time to request, free of charge, information about the data we have stored about you and how it is used. To exercise this right, please send an email to datenschutz@schuk-consulting.de. Please understand that we can only provide you with this information securely; that is, we require proof that you are the person entitled to receive the information, and we will send it exclusively to the contact address we have on file—which may be your fax number, email address, or mailing address.
Correction, Restriction, or Deletion of Your Data
You have the right at any time to correct, block (in whole or in part), or have deleted the data we have stored, processed, and shared. In the event of a complete data deletion, we would store a basic data record—consisting of your first and last name, street and house number, zip code, and city, as well as your date of birth if applicable, in a separate “duplicate database” to prevent a new record from being entered into our IT system after the deletion has taken place. You also have the option to have this basic data record deleted; you should specifically indicate this in your request for deletion.
Right to Data Portability
You have the right to have data that we process automatically—based on your consent or in fulfillment of a contract—provided to you or to a third party in a commonly used, machine-readable format. If you request the direct transfer of the data to another data controller, this will be done only to the extent that it is technically feasible.
Please send an email to datenschutz@schuk-consulting.de to request the correction, restriction, deletion, or transfer of your data.
Data Security Through SSL Encryption
Our website has what is known as an “SSL certificate.” “SSL” stands for “Secure Sockets Layer.” The term “layer” refers to the transport layers used to visually represent the exchange of data between two computers. The SSL protocol secures the transmission between a domain on a web server and the visitor to that domain. At the heart of the SSL protocol is the digital key pair consisting of the server’s public and private keys, as well as the certificate authority’s ID. Every virtual web server requires its own key pair because the ID includes, among other things, the domain name. Every SSL-protected website requires its own IP address. During a secure connection, the computers involved communicate exclusively via the mechanism provided by SSL. If a secure connection is not available, the SSL protocol is deactivated.
Data Collection / Storage / Processing
When you use this site, so-called log files are generated on our server. These files record certain data generated during your use of the site (so-called usage data). These log files do not contain any personally identifiable information about our users, but only data about the use of our site that is not linked to any specific individual. The log files are used to analyze and improve the security of our website, as well as to detect, analyze, and defend against attacks. The log files contain, for example, the date and time of the visit, browser type and version (e.g., Internet Explorer), the operating system used (e.g., Windows 10), the file accessed, and the IP address assigned to the user’s Internet connection at the time of use.
If you have contacted us via the online contact form, we will use the information you provided to process your request and respond to you. To this end, we store and process your data.
As a staffing agency, we use your information—in particular, your personal data—as well as our records from an assessment interview to create your personal candidate profile. We store this candidate profile in a secure database that is protected by up-to-date security measures and is regularly audited.
Cookies
Some of the web pages on this site use so-called cookies. Cookies do not harm your computer and do not contain viruses. Cookies help make our website more user-friendly, effective, and secure. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and saved by your browser. Most of the cookies we use are so-called “session cookies.” They are automatically deleted at the end of your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them. These cookies allow us to recognize your browser the next time you visit.
You can configure your browser to notify you when cookies are set, to allow cookies only on a case-by-case basis, to block cookies in specific cases or generally, and to enable the automatic deletion of cookies when you close your browser. If you disable cookies, the functionality of this website may be limited.
Cookies that are necessary for carrying out the electronic communication process or for providing certain functions you have requested (e.g., the shopping cart function) are stored pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in storing cookies to ensure the technically error-free and optimized provision of its services. To the extent that other cookies (e.g., cookies used to analyze your browsing behavior) are stored, these are addressed separately in this Privacy Policy.
Server Log Files
The provider of these pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. This includes, among other things, the browser type and version, the operating system used, the referrer URL, the hostname of the accessing computer, the time of the server request, and/or the IP address. This data is not combined with other data sources. The legal basis for data processing is Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR, which permits the processing of data for the performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures.
Under Article 9(1) of the GDPR, the processing of personal data revealing racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, or trade union membership is prohibited. The processing of genetic data, biometric data for the purpose of uniquely identifying a natural person, health data, or data concerning a natural person’s sex life or sexual orientation is also prohibited.
If you provide us with information that requires special protection under Article 9(1) of the GDPR, you thereby consent to its storage, processing, and possible disclosure to one of our business partners or clients.
Please note that data transmission over the Internet (e.g., when communicating via email) may be subject to security vulnerabilities. It is not possible to completely protect data from access by third parties.
Please send an email to datenschutz@schuk-consulting.de to restrict the storage and processing of your data, either partially or in full.
Consent to Data Sharing
As a staffing agency, we use your information—in particular, your personal data—as well as our notes from an assessment interview to create your personal candidate profile. We compare this candidate profile with the job description and requirements provided by our clients. If we determine that you are suitable for the open position and, in our view, are also a good fit for the company—particularly for the team—we will forward your candidate profile, along with the documents you have provided (which may include your resume, certificates, proof of qualifications, etc., to our client.
To provide you with a wide range of potentially interesting job opportunities, we are part of a network of recruitment firms. These firms have entered into a cooperation agreement with us that ensures the proper handling, storage, protection, and confidentiality of your data.
Before disclosing data to clients or business partners, we will notify you of our intention to disclose the data by phone, fax, email, or letter, and will not forward the data until we have received your consent.
Please send an email to datenschutz@schuk-consulting.de to object to or restrict the sharing of your data at any time.
Consent to Be Contacted
If you have contacted us via the online contact form or the online application form, we will use the information you provided to process your request and respond to you. To do so, we will store and process your information.
By submitting your data—in particular, by providing separate consent on our website prior to the transfer of data—you expressly agree that we, a third party commissioned by us, or one of our cooperation partners may contact you via email, mail, fax, or telephone for the purpose of clarifying, processing, responding to, or confirming your consent to the transfer of your data to one of our clients or business partners.
The processing of the data entered in the contact form is therefore based solely on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You may revoke this consent at any time. To do so, simply send us an informal email. The lawfulness of the data processing operations carried out up until the withdrawal of consent remains unaffected by the withdrawal.
Please send an email to datenschutz@schuk-consulting.de to object to or restrict this contact.
Withdrawal of Consent to Data Storage / Processing / Prior Consent
In addition to the option to restrict data storage, data processing, and data transfer, you have the option and the right at any time to withdraw consent that you have previously given (Art. 7(3) of the GDPR).
Please send an email to datenschutz@schuk-consulting.de to revoke any consent you have given for the storage, processing, and transfer of your data. If you revoke your consent, please ensure that we can clearly identify you.

As a service provider, we are responsible for our own content on this website in accordance with Section 7(1) of the German Telemedia Act (TMG) and general laws. However, pursuant to Sections 8 through 10 of the German Telemedia Act (TMG), we, as a service provider, are not obligated to monitor third-party information that is transmitted or stored, nor are we required to investigate circumstances that indicate illegal activity. Obligations to remove or block the use of information under general laws remain unaffected by this. However, liability in this regard is only possible from the time we become aware of a specific legal violation. Upon becoming aware of such legal violations, we will remove the content immediately.
The respective author assumes no liability for the timeliness, accuracy, completeness, or quality of the information provided. References and Links
In the case of direct or indirect references to external websites (“links”) that are outside the author’s sphere of responsibility, liability would arise only if the author were aware of the content and it were technically possible and reasonable for the author to prevent the use of such content in the event that it is unlawful.
The author therefore expressly declares that, at the time the links were created, the linked pages were free of illegal content. The author has no influence whatsoever on the current or future design or content of the linked pages. Therefore, the author hereby expressly distances himself or herself from all content on any linked pages that has been modified since the links were created. This statement applies to all links and references within the author’s own website as well as to third-party contributions. The provider of the page to which a reference is made is solely liable for illegal, incorrect, or incomplete content—and in particular for damages resulting from the use or non-use of such information—not the person who merely refers to the respective publication via links.
